Our mission & vision is to positively impact individuals and organisations through focusing on Experiences, Development and enhancing Lifestyles.

 

My-Styles Project was founded from our passion and belief that the more you experience the more you develop and is in memory of Carol Cook, a family member who sadly passed away at just seventeen months old.

 

Our aim is to:

  • Organise Experiences for children with medical conditions, enabling them to create family memories
  • Create opportunities for Development
  • Provide items to enrich Lifestyles

Card Activity Pack

Whilst in hospital recently undergoing tests, Lucy was given one of the gift card activity packs provided to the hospital, to get creative and keep her mind occupied.

Woburn Safari Park

A family ticket for four was given to a young boy with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2, giving the family an opportunity to spend time together to make memories.

A family ticket for four was given to a young boy who spends a lot of time in and out of hospital, they enjoyed the day giving them quality time together as a family.

My-Styles Project recently organised, funded and hosted a family day at Beale Park for children with medical conditions. The purpose of the day was to provide an opportunity for the children and their families to experience something different, including feeding the animals, enabling them to create memories...

Card Activity Packs

20 creative gift card activity packs provided to be given out to children needing something to keep them occupied during their time in hospital.

Woburn Safari Park

A family who have spent a significant amount of time in hospital were provided with a family ticket to Woburn Safari Park, giving them an opportunity to spend time together away from the hospital to create memories.

Cotswold Wildlife Park Experience

A day to remember for a family of four whose son has a rare chromosome disorder. The day included a Feeding the Penguins Experience, Adoption of a Giraffe (the young son's favourite animal) and some vouchers to spend during their visit.

Beale Park

A family ticket was provided to a young child and his parents to experience a day together at Beale Park, giving them a break from the norm of spending much of their time in hospital.

Legoland Experience

Charlie, who has had over 30 neuro operations and multilevel surgery to her limbs, wished to spend her 13th birthday at Legoland. My-Styles Project organised for Charlie and her mum to stay at the Legoland Hotel for two nights, including two days in the park.

Charlie's Bracelets

March 2018

Charlie is a bubbly, bright teenager who has spent most of her childhood in hospital. She has undergone over thirty neuro operations and multilevel surgery to her limbs. Despite this and many hospital stays, Charlie continues to suffer from discomfort and pain.

 

Charlie loves music, animals and enjoys making things, in particular lego and craft activities.

 

My-Styles Project has given Charlie the opportunity to start up her own small business, making bracelets that carry positive, impactful messages. This enables Charlie to raise money for the charities which have supported her and her family as well as earn some herself.

Disneyland Paris

The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund organise an annual trip to Disneyland Paris every December. My-Styles Project donated £5,000 of the £12,000 required for the trip in December 2017.

Music Chimes and Stand

The positive impact the music therapy sessions had on a one year old child being treated in hospital, led to a set of chimes and a stand being provided to the family so that the child could continue enjoying music therapy at home.

Branded Towels for Rosie's Rainbow Therapy Room at John Radcliffe Hospital

Amanda Tibbels provides calming and restorative aromatherapy massages for parents and children on the Children's ward at John Radcliffe Hospital. My-Styles project funded branded towels for the room.

Contribution towards Flight's and a Cruise

During a previous family holiday on a cruise, Sam fell ill and was subsequently diagnosed with a brain tumour. Following his extensive treatment, My-Styles Project contributed £1,000 towards another cruise for Sam and his family.

Alton Towers Experience

A teenage girl who regularly visits hospital had always wanted to visit a theme park. My-Styles Project organised for her and her family to have two days access to Alton Towers Park along with a one night's stay in the Alton Towers Hotel and transport.

Office equipment

Provided office equipment to enable a parent to continue working whilst making regular visits to the hospital with her child.

Disneyland Paris

The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund organise an annual trip to Disneyland Paris every December. My-Styles Project funded £10,000 of the £12,000 required for the trip in December 2016.

Disneyland Paris

The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund organise an annual trip to Disneyland Paris every December. Unfortunately due to illness, one child was unable to attend the annual trip in 2015, so My-Styles Project provided the funds for him and his family to visit on a separate occasion the following year.
